Nos ‘audio illum’; sic etiam illi. Vergilius in XII: ‘audiat haec ge­nitor qui foedera fulmine sancit’. Δημοσθένης Φιλιππικῶν Γ: ‘ὅταν δὲ πρὸς τὰ πράγματα ἀποβλέψω καὶ ὅταν πρὸς τοὺς λόγους, οὓς ἀκούω’. ‘Patior illum’. Lucanus in I: ‘pellimur e patriis laribus patimurque volentes / exilium’.
